Elena Vyushkina
My name is Elena Vyushkina as you can guess :-)
I participated in this course as a student last year and as a facilitator this year. I’ve got a great experience in both cases and I’m ready to share it with colleagues.
Here is my formal bio: Elena Vyushkina, Associate Professor at Saratov State Law Academy (Department of the English Language, Theoretical and Applied Linguistics) where she teaches English at undergraduate and graduate levels. She holds degrees in physics (1990) and teaching EFL (1999). Mrs. Vyushkina has completed the degree of “Kandidat Nauk” in pedagogy. She is active with TESOL and NATE (National Association of Teachers of English). ESP, CALL, and teaching materials design are among her interests. Mrs. Vyushkina has written a number of articles on teaching Legal English and using IT in the classroom as well as several textbooks used at the Academy.
Speaking informally, I really like to try different things on-line and now I’m trying tobecome more familiar with Moodle to teach Business Correspondence on-line as an optional course next academic year.
