Course Goals

The primary goal of this course is to familiarize participants with the guiding concepts and practices of teaching writing in the modern English Language classroom. In addition, teachers will be encouraged to improve their own writing skills as well as their skills in teaching writing as they explore how the various instructional techniques and approaches can best be adapted for their students’ needs and goals.


Course Details

During 12 weeks from December 15 2010 to March 22, 2011 (with two weeks off during New Year holidays), participants will complete a series of weekly readings and activities divided into major content areas related to L2 writing instruction.
